A downloadable game for Windows

Dead Hand is a gripping and immersive OS-type game that puts you in control of the ultimate doomsday weapon. As the player, you take over a computer controlling the titular system that has the power to launch nuclear weapons in case of destruction of the leadership of your country.

With a retro command line interface that harkens back to the days of old-school computer games, Dead Hand will transport you to a time when decisions were made through typing commands rather than fancy graphics. You must follow orders that come through email, but also monitor other sources such as weather services and radio stations, to determine whether the nuclear strike should proceed.

Dead Hand features multiple scenarios that will challenge you to think critically and make tough decisions that will ultimately determine the fate of your country and the world. Whether it's a diplomatic crisis or a military confrontation, the scenarios will test your ability to make quick and decisive choices under pressure.

In addition to that, you will need to keep the computer running smoothly, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and that there are no technical glitches that could result in a catastrophic error.

In addition to the pre-built scenarios, Dead Hand comes with a dedicated scenario editor that allows you to create your own unique scenarios and share them with other players. This feature gives the game near-limitless replayability and ensures that no two games are ever the same.
